NetGSM integration: Corex360 Cloud PBX and SMS

Corex360's Cloud PBX module has a NetGSM integration for the phone system and SMS. The PBX is a module running in the same core as the CRM; calls show on the same customer record, not in a separate program. Calls are made from the Call Center window in the browser, and the info SMS goes out through the same connection.

What does the NetGSM connection give you in Corex360?

The module has call centre, PBX numbers, PBX staff and call history screens; new PBX lines and extensions are defined here. The voice and SMS connection is set up with NetGSM. The top of the Call Center window shows the connection status and a Connect button; outgoing and missed calls are listed with date, time and duration.

The full module is on the Corex360 Cloud PBX page.

Call Center in the browser

Calls are made from the Call Center window in the browser with the WebRTC extension assigned to the staff member; if none is assigned, the window says so.

Connection status is visible

The top of the window shows Connected or Not connected, with a Connect button.

Extensions and keypad

Phone staff are listed with their extensions; numbers are dialled from the keypad.

Call history

Outgoing and missed calls are listed with date, time and duration.

How does a call show on the customer card?

The Call Center and Customers open as tabs in the same window, so during a call you reach the customer record from the same window. Incoming and outgoing calls are linked to the contact card of the calling number; because the same person's messages, calls and email sit on one card, the date of the last contact is clear.

How a phone system and a CRM work together in general is covered in PBX CRM integration; what a cloud PBX is, in what is a cloud PBX.

When is the info SMS sent?

The Call Center has an automatic info SMS switch. When it is on, the dialled number receives an info SMS introducing the caller; the SMS is also sent through the NetGSM connection. This SMS lets someone who could not pick up know who called. With the switch off no info SMS goes out; the call is still written to the customer card with its duration.

Read alongside NetGSM

All the screens of the module, from the call centre to call history, are on the Corex360 Cloud PBX page, and the other systems that connect to Corex360 are on the integrations page. What the term call recording means, and what to watch for, is in the glossary; to add the PBX to the topics for your quote, use the pricing prep wizard.

Related questions

What happens if the internet goes down?
Because calls travel over the internet, office devices cannot call when the connection drops. Most providers can forward calls to a mobile in that case; a backup connection is worth planning too.
Can we call from the browser and see missed calls?
Yes, the Call Center window calls from the browser with the extension assigned to the staff member, and outgoing and missed calls are listed with date, time, and duration. The top of the window shows Connected or Not connected and a Connect button. PBX staff are listed with their extensions, and numbers are dialed from a keypad. There is a NetGSM integration for the PBX and SMS.
Is Corex360 Cloud PBX a separate phone service?
No. Corex360 Cloud PBX is a module of the Corex360 core, and call history sits on the customer card; Corex360 is not positioned as a telecoms operator.
Can my current company number move to a cloud PBX?
Number porting is governed by BTK's number portability regulation, and the conditions depend on the number type. We have gathered what to ask about porting and leaving a provider in the cloud PBX buying guide.
